President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi has handed over the of the Yemeni government on the UN roadmap regarding the Yemeni crisis to the UN Special Envoy to Yemen Esmail Ould Cheikh Ahmed.
This came during a meeting held on Thursday between Hadi and Ould Cheikh Ahmed in the port southern city of Aden.
Hadi affirmed that the Yemeni government is keen to reach an agreement which establishes for a secure and stable future.
Hadi said that militias of the Houthis and ousted President Ali Abdullah Saleh still challenge the UN Resolutions, calling the international community to put an end to their arrogance.
He praised the UN efforts to achieve peace in Yemen according to the declared terms of references.
For his part Ould Cheikh Ahmed stressed that the international community is keen to reach a peace according to the GCC-brokered initiative, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and the UN Resolutions.
